Carlaws - Bryce & Carolyn

Crossworld - Douglas Cork Ireland

Bryce & Carolyn have been serving in the Cork city suburb of Douglas since ‘98 along with their four children,Nathan, Abigail, Jonothan and Hannah. A new church started there in May, 2006 where Bryce is an elder and does the majority of teaching (as there is no pastor at the moment). Their desire is that the Douglas Baptist church will go on to reproduce and start a new church in the neighbouring town.

Cliff and Cheryl serve as NAIM missionaries in Saskatchewan and the Canadian Prairies. They are part of NAIM's Human Resources team, and bring encouragement and support to NAIM staff. In doing so they are able to see, hear and participate in what God is doing in all areas of NAIM's ministry on the Canadian Prairies.

They also minister in partnership with Healing Hearts Ministries (HHM) in Regina, Saskatchewan. HHM's mission is to bring the healing touch of Jesus to hurting people. It is a privilege to come alongside this team of called men and women and give encouragement and care to each one.

The Gordon's First Nation Reserve is where our sons call home. It is a joy to come alongside the believers here, helping them stand firm in their faith and living their lives as a testimony of God's goodness. We are involved in the community by attending family gatherings, performing funerals and participating in wakes, praying with families and building relationships to introduce Jesus as Lord and Saviour. The church is alive and well on Gordon's Reserve and we are seeing them reach their own people.

Sunnybrae Bible Camp is a non-profit society owned by eighteen local Fellowship Baptist Churches. Nine full-time staff live and work on property year round hosting more than six thousand guests per year. With a total of 409 beds housed in 52,000 square feet of buildings, our summer requires an additional ninety-plus staff in our peak season to achieve an exceptional camper experience. Of these seasonal staff Sunnybrae employs forty-eight young adult staff who work directly with campers; all of whom undergo a vigorous interview process. Sunnybrae also employs forty-eight 15-18 year-old students who form work crews in our successful SALT program. These teams support our janitorial and food services departments so that other staff can spend as much time with campers as possible.

SBC is committed to keep camper fees below 0.75% of an average family income, while maintaining high standards relating to facility, programming, and meals. A modest 25% of our operating budget is generated by camper fees. The remaining revenues are spawned by churches, donors, and user rental groups.
