-
We believe the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is the inspired and true Word of God, written by men who were moved by the Holy Spirit.
It is without error and remains the final revelation of God's will, the foundation of Christian unity, and the standard for how we live and what we believe (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105).
-
We believe in one living, eternal, and true God—an infinite, intelligent Spirit who created and rules over all.
He is holy and worthy of all honour, faith, and love.
In the unity of the Godhead, there are three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in divine perfection and working together in the work of redemption (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
-
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, fully and eternally God, equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
For our redemption, He took on human nature, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. In Christ, the divine and human natures are united, yet distinct.
He was tempted and tried yet lived a sinless life, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, rose bodily on the third day, and appeared to His disciples.
He ascended to the Father and lives as our High Priest, interceding for us.
According to His promise, He will return visibly with power and glory (John 1:14; Philippians 2:6-8; Hebrews 4:15; Acts 1:9-11).
-
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, equal with the Father and the Son, sharing the same nature. He was active in creation and convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
The Holy Spirit testifies to the truth of the Gospel and is the agent of regeneration.
He dwells in every believer from the moment of conversion, baptizes them in the Spirit, and fills them as they yield control to Christ.
The evidence of His presence and power is seen in the fruit of the Spirit in a believer’s life (John 14:16-17; Genesis 1:2; John 16:8; Galatians 5:22-23).
-
We believe that Satan is a real being, the malevolent prince of the power of the air and the unholy god of this world. He is mankind’s great tempter, the enemy of God and Christ, and the accuser of the saints.
He is the author of all false religions and the leader of all forces of darkness.
However, he and his forces are defeated through Christ’s victory on Calvary.
Satan is destined for final defeat by God's Son and will face eternal punishment in a place prepared for him and his angels (Ephesians 2:2; 1 Peter 5:8; Revelation 12:9-10; Matthew 25:41).
-
We believe the Genesis account of creation is to be taken literally. God created man directly in His image, not through evolution or long periods of development.
All animals and plants were specially created and reproduce "after their kind" (Genesis 1:1, 26-28; Genesis 1:21-25; Genesis 1:11-12).
-
We believe that man was originally created innocent but fell into sin by his own choice.
As a result, all humans are now sinful by nature and choice, under just condemnation.
In this fallen state, man is totally depraved and unable to understand spiritual things without the Holy Spirit's grace (Genesis 3:6-7; Romans 3:23; 1 Corinthians 2:14).
-
We believe that salvation is entirely by grace through Jesus Christ. He took on our human nature without sin, obeyed God's law perfectly, and died as our substitute, taking the penalty for our sins.
His death provided complete atonement, and after rising from the dead, He now reigns in heaven as our perfect and compassionate Savior (Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Peter 3:18; Hebrews 4:14-16).
-
We believe that election is God's sovereign choice to save sinners He calls, done out of grace.
The Holy Spirit works through God's Word to draw people to Christ, aligning their wills with God's purpose.
Election eliminates human boasting and is shown in believers through their faith in Christ, love for God, and desire for holiness.
It assures believers and fosters humility and service (Ephesians 1:4-5; Romans 8:29-30; 2 Peter 1:10).
-
We believe that to be saved, a sinner must be born again through faith in Jesus Christ.
This new birth is an immediate, supernatural change where one who was dead in sin receives eternal life and partakes in the divine nature. It is entirely by God’s grace, through the Holy Spirit and His truth.
Believers are kept secure in their salvation by God’s power and show evidence of their new birth through repentance, faith, and a transformed life (John 3:3-7; 2 Peter 1:4; 1 Peter 1:5).
-
We believe that justification is the blessing where God declares a person righteous.
It includes forgiveness of all sins and the gift of eternal life based on divine righteousness.
Justification is given by grace through faith in Christ, whose perfect life and sacrificial death provide righteousness to the believer (Romans 3:24; Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
-
We believe that sanctification is the believer's position in Christ, set apart for God’s purposes by His grace.
It involves both a status given through the new covenant and a process of growing in moral and spiritual maturity.
This growth happens through the Holy Spirit's power and obedience to God's Word.
Sanctification will be completed in its fullness when Jesus Christ returns (Hebrews 10:10; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; 1 John 3:2).
-
We believe the church is a group of baptized believers organized as outlined in the New Testament.
It operates under Christ's laws, observes His ordinances, and is led by pastors and deacons as specified in Scripture.
The church's mission is to evangelize, baptize, and teach according to Christ's commands.
It governs itself independently, with Christ as the sole leader through the Holy Spirit and Scripture.
The church decides its own matters and can cooperate with other churches in spreading the Gospel, determining how to do so based on its own judgment (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 6:1-6; 1 Peter 5:1-3).
-
We believe Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water, done in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
It is a command from Christ, symbolizing the believer’s union with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, and their new life.
According to Scripture, baptism should come before taking the Lord’s Supper, where church members use bread and wine to remember Christ’s death after self-examination (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
-
We believe there is a clear difference between the righteous and the wicked.
Those justified by faith in Jesus and set apart by the Spirit are righteous in God’s eyes.
In contrast, those who remain unrepentant and unbelieving are considered wicked and under God’s curse.
This distinction continues after death: the righteous are with Christ, enjoying blessedness and awaiting resurrection, while the wicked suffer torment in Hades until the final judgment.
At that time, the righteous will enter everlasting happiness in Heaven, and the wicked will face eternal suffering in Hell (Matthew 25:34, 41; Luke 16:22-23; 2 Corinthians 5:8; Revelation 20:11-15).
